[...Well, this was new. Neither Insomnia nor Niflheim had building structures quite like this, and he was more than reasonably certain the latter was the peak of magitechnology while the former was nothing to take lightly either. Whatever this room was (not to mention how he came to be there) was something entirely foreign.]
[...Leviathan's fucking tailfin, what was he wearing?]
[Ardyn stepped out of his room as collected and relaxed as though he had complete control of the situation (he most certainly did not), looking like a disheveled mess in a neatly kept suit that he imagined probably cost as much as the Regalia.]
If you would but humor me a moment- [He spoke up at the first person to pass by, speaking with antiquated phrases in a lazily ambling tone.] -could you perhaps enlighten me as to what may be transpiring here?
[c; i think i'll try defying gravity]
[Of all the strange things he encountered, this seemed the least disorienting. Ardyn managed to keep himself mostly upright, 'standing' on nothing with a look of what could only be called smug amusement.]

[It felt like the split instant between warping from one point to another, except for an extended period of time and without the need to dematerialize in one place and rematerialize in another. But that did pose a slight problem, didn't it?]
[As laid back and calm as he looked, Ardyn had no idea on heaven or earth how to move from that spot.]
[d; holodeck]
[When one such as Ardyn (that is to say, completely indifferent to the word 'consequences') came across a lot of buttons and whatnot on a control panel, he practically felt compelled to mess around with it just a bit.]

[...and completely empty.]
[It was, he had to admit with a quiet and derisive laugh, suitable.]
