[Honestly...he's not hard to catch up with. He tears through the house at top speed, leaving the front door open on his way out, but he only makes it into the yard. When Jane finds him he's on his knees in the grass, his head ducked down and his hands in his hair while his breathing comes out in ragged gasps.

The only upside here is that he's remembering to breathe and that's an improvement from previous panic attacks.]

[The thing is, she definitely hadn't thought this far ahead when she went after him - and while Jane has had her own panic attacks, she has no idea how to calm someone else's. But. But she wants to be there for him. She wants to try. That's what gets her to slow down and stop a couple yards away, breathing hard through her nose, face pulled tight in concern.]

...Jamie...? Jamie, I'm...I'm here. You're not along, o-okay? I...I'm here if you need someone.

[She mostly wants to just pull him into a hug but considering the fact that he decked Xander, she has a rather sizeable Concern about doing that out of the blue.]

[It takes a long few minutes before his breathing starts to become less labored and the death grip he has on the roots of his hair relaxes a little. He doesn't move to get up from the ground though.]

...Jane, what the hell happened to him?

[She closes the distance between them. Slowly.]

I'm going to hug you. Okay? It's just me.

[She says it so he doesn't lash out when, gently, Jane wraps her arms around Jamie as she kneels down beside him, holding him tight. Anchoring him here, to this moment.]

I don't...I don't know how, but he's...a cyborg. And I don't know if him "hijacking" this group was for show or actually unexpected. [A pause.] There's...no way you're scared of him for the same reasons I am, is there.
