I doubt we'll be fortunate enough for their facility to have a detachable morgue they could escape with, at least.

They don't have windows, either. If this was a few weeks before we met you... It could be that they knew we were getting close, so while they were moving the mansion, they also made sure we couldn't track the new group the same way.

It's possible...they did block off our windows a short while after we arrived, so it's likely they caught on.

They've got so much space to work in, too. It's almost unbelievable. But there might be some way to work out context with what the staff are saying. It sounds like their counselor's from Earth.

There are a number of planets with that name, by the sound of things.

You mean how a lot of us are from universes where there's an Earth, if not from their own version of Earth itself. Come to think of it, it does sort of sound like he's not from the Earth here...

Correct. And if he's from another universe like the rest of us, then it's likely that either the network chose him for a specific reason, or he came to work for them after a situation like ours.

Maybe they got him during the testing phase of whatever machine they used to take us.

...That's certainly a viable theory. They must have tested it somehow; regrettably the network doesn't strike me as complete idiots that would utilize it otherwise.

Which would explain why he's on their payroll instead of an inmate, but he still has a PIP. I mean, there could still be other reasons, but this makes sense to me. Our own Overseers came from another season, so they had PIPs too, since they were captives.

Which brings us back to my second theory. Even if he was part of a test, it's possible he went through another season or iteration of this entirely.

But there were only our three so far, weren't there? Unless they've pre-filmed more, but if they only just started this a few weeks before yours was done, why would they have prepared more? They went a whole year on just Lovelocked.

What do you know of the season your Overseers were part of?

Not a lot. I'm sure Jamie-san would tell if you asked, but things have been very hard on him. You don't think...?

If he was part of such a thing--he wasn't with you, and he certainly wasn't with us. What else is left?

That's true, and we haven't heard much about season one, for how popular it was.

Do you think it possible that whoever may have survived that first season works for the network now?

There's no way! The only survivor we know of is Jamie-san, unless someone... faked their death...

Kip-san did that, didn't he? So it's not impossible. And aside from two, the rest didn't show up in the subscriber content after dying in the simulation.

...hm. That's certainly something to consider, then. Not to mention that even if others died, we've well established death means nothing to these people. They could have been brought back and placed in newly printed bodies like mine.

We should keep it in mind, but it's too early to tell. There could be a lot of different things going on.
