[Natsuhi’s silent in the confusion for a good few minutes. Even after the titles are brought up she doesn’t say anything. Not until one of them earns a mixture of a chuckle and a scoff.]

…Champion Detective… They’ve got to be joking--

[She doesn’t even realise that she’s jumped up from her seat to snarl, or the hysterical edge to her voice. For a few more seconds she stands there, clenching her fists. Then she just turns and storms out the room.

…Bye?]

[When Natsuhi is ready to be with a person, she'll find Jane in their shared room, pointedly looking away from the door and ignoring anything going on outside. She'll watch later. She'll see the titles later. For now, she's just trying to stay in reality.

At least she already dislikes Erika...?]

[She isn’t ready when she gets to the room.

She just walks in shutting the door with more force than necessary and collapsing on her bed without a word. She might not have even noticed Jane was there.

Probably not, because she’s still scrunching her eyes shut and trembling.]

[Good thing Jane is just sort of hidden under the covers like a lump that, thankfully, Natsuhi did not collapse on. But she will make obvious rustling noises as she peeks her eyes out over the rim of the blankets.]

[There’s a sniff before Natsuhi freezes completely. Face still buried in the part of the covers she’d claimed.]

…I-I thought you were outside…

[Jane shifts a little. To say she's not...understanding, at least, of a person's need for space, would be incredibly wrong in this moment.]

I can. Um. Go out. If you need.

No…It’s fine. They’d only ask you questions about before.

[At least she slowly pushes herself up. Even if she stays hidden behind her hair. When was the last time she cried?]

[Quietly, Jane retreats a little into the blankets, shifting some over for Natsuhi. However much she needs.]

...My reaction was stupid, anyway. He...can't be the same man from my world.

[But seeing him, hearing that voice, still kicks in the instinct of fear in her, of what could be lurking in the shadows waiting to snatch them all up. Of what Jane isn't strong enough to stop, not by herself, not with her friends.]

[Slowly she picks one up. It’s more to use as a towel and to hide her face than an actual blanket.

[It takes her a second, and then her own eyes narrow.]

And she lifts her head. Enough for the glare to be visible, even if there are still tears in her eyes.]

[Jane frowns deeply, closing her eyes and scrunching up her nose.] But what? She's definitely not remembering something by virtue of being in there. Is she secretly a magical gremlin or something?

She knows magic. Or she has associates that do… I don’t- Somethings from that day are fuzzy. But I know she was able to fight someone who used magic. And that strange court…

[RIP Beatrice. And Natsuhi brings a hand to her chest, before looking down. The court room, the goats, the sword that went through her only to disappear.]

When we were in the court room, everything- everyone disappeared. That’s where the other ones were. There is no room like that in the mansion. And I didn’t leave the parlour after she accused me.

[But Jane would like to think, at this point, she knows Natsuhi well enough not to lie about experiencing Weird Shit. She's already completely fed up with everything they encounter here. So if there was some magical court room that appeared in her world, then it definitely happened.]

[Erika Furudo will never hurt Natsuhi again if Jane can help it. If she has to, she'll protect Serious Mom. She will.]

[Can you really expect detailed from someone who got stabbed and was lying on the floor crying while magical things happened?
