Well, yes. At least, I'm sure he can turn it on and off. It would have been programmed to act a certain way outside of those parameters, though. A friend of mine built robots from scratch for...well, not fun per say, though he did enjoy it? He did it mostly to create companions for himself, and then Lil' Sebastian for me. He'd know better.

This is another matter I shall have to look further into, it seems. These "robots" seem as if they will be important, and in the past I saw them only as a type of monster.

In the past as in...back at home? [Jane hums, thoughtful.] Honestly, it depends primarily on their form and the function they've been programmed for. Dirk's could fight, certainly, but they had instructions to do so only in specific situations.

Not strictly at home, but in my world, yes. We encountered similar beings in the Heavenly Keep which attempted to halt our progress.

Um...I suppose she could have. I don't believe she mentioned anyone by that name.

[But she was in suspended animation for 1K years so it's very likely.]

It was likely not his true name. Though if not, we never learned it.

I had thought he was the last of his era. Now I have learned another still lived... and I only just missed her.

...We'll get her back, Arianna. We'll get everyone back. You know? And then - then we can all be together and figure out what we want to do and where to go. I truly believe those who aren't here with us at least want to take their shot at the ones responsible for this.

...I have been giving that matter some thought, actually. What to do and where to go, after all this is over.

You know, I look at it like...we'll have all the universe open to us, right? And likely an option to go to our homes if we wish. I'm not holding onto a specific plan myself, just hoping that life can lead me towards what's best for me.
