It's no wonder they were so brutal with us right away. They knew what worked and what didn't. Bolton-san came up with the motives to try and save Jamie-san, and he called one an "old classic" once... They get worse. They must.

Perhaps it will be Sir Blaze next? He may be better able to motivate them.

That's true. When it was Jamie-san's turn to give us motives, he just had us do fun activities instead. And didn't you alternate, too?

...somewhat. On one occasion we were "motivated" by both Sir Kip and Sir P.A.L. in the same week. And in the end they were one and the same anyway.

One time went strangely for us, too... actually, two times. Maybe that's a constant, too.

The time Sir Bolton took Sir Jamie's week, and... the time with Dame Wilhelmina.

[A couple of particularly bad weeks, those.]

Really? I thought he was still on sort of an us-versus-them thing. I mean, like a lot of us were when the groups first met up.

You know, maybe you're right. After all, he cares about all of you! He even found love like the rest of you.

That does make sense. I mean, Xander-san's a great leader and he does his best for everyone. It must be something you were taught your whole life. Ruri-chan back home is technically a princess, but she only found out sort of recently, and she decided she hated it and wanted to go back to us instead.

Don't tell him this, but I think it's difficult for him, too. He just doesn't want people to worry.

You know... I think he said once that it wasn't talent. It's just that he works hard every day, like anyone.

No, "talent" is the wrong word. But he has both strength and intelligence to show. Anyone would follow him.
