To focus all the hurt that we've got on, right? [Jane considers it for a moment.] One enemy...would be really nice. I wish we'd only had one back home, but sometimes it seemed like we had at least a dozen.

We... rarely had any clear enemy. There were people who stood between us and our goals, but we usually faced only the dangers of the Labyrinth itself.

...Hm. Hey...as a hypothetical question. Would you rather be fighting these mysterious people in space, or the stuff in that Labyrinth?

[She hesitates, but not because she needs to think about the answer.]

...if it were my choice, I would face the Labyrinth again. Our lives were in constant danger, but it was a danger we understood and knew how to face, and one that threatened only those who faced it willingly.

...If I had to choose between this or the enemies in the game...I don't know what I'd pick, but, the only good thing about space is that I'm alive in it...and I intend to stay that way. I'm so sick of dying and death.
