It's the murdergame meme, but thinly retextured for Airlocked!! Don't say I don't love you, Airlocked crew.

The premise is simple: It's a meme where you play out scenarios with your alternate Champion choices for Airlocked, either characters you considered apping at the time but decided against or characters who you started playing after the end of Airlocked. The world is your oyster!

[Ardyn Lucis Caelum, Champion Sage, didn't know why his hair was shorter and blighted violet, or why his eyes were no longer blue. He didn't know (though he suspected) why he no longer needed to sleep or eat, and he didn't recognize the scars on his hands and body, much less the stab wound in his chest.]

[He didn't remember any of it.]

[To him, Somnus Lucis Caelum was not a threat, not the usurper that stole everything from him. Just his brother, even though they often conflicted and argued. So in those early weeks before anything could correct itself to the nightmare he would be forced to suffer beneath, Ardyn often approached with a smile; no matter how bad the circumstances, he had to look after his little brother.]

You look tired. Have you been eating well enough?

[ Somnus, meanwhile, had received a couple of horribly important memories. At first, their relationship had been much the same as back home--friendly, if sometimes tense. Ardyn was still the beloved big brother, even if Somnus felt...

overshadowed.

But as the weeks have stretched on, and Somnus has had time to reflect on those memories, there's a certain measure of distance he's put between them. Of course he won't explain himself; he's guarded in the most extreme sense of the word, perhaps in an effort to push Ardyn far, far away.

It hasn't worked.

In fact, maybe that's made things worse. For Somnus, anyway. ]

[The smile faltered as though Somnus had openly lashed out at him; the more his brother tried to distance himself, the deeper it cut into Ardyn's heart. Had he said or done something careless without realizing it? True, some of his memories...didn't add up, in ways he had yet to understand. But he couldn't yet place anything that would cause such a reaction.]

Are you...alright? I have naught but time, should you wish to talk.
