It's the murdergame meme, but thinly retextured for Airlocked!! Don't say I don't love you, Airlocked crew.

The premise is simple: It's a meme where you play out scenarios with your alternate Champion choices for Airlocked, either characters you considered apping at the time but decided against or characters who you started playing after the end of Airlocked. The world is your oyster!

It's meat! Turul meat! [ she said this with the audible expectation that Ignis OBVIOUSLY knows whatever the hell it is she's talking about. ] It came up in a package from the dumbwaiter so I hurried over here as soon as I got my hands on it!

[ She's so excited about this she's bouncing up and down on her heels as she talks. Food from home!! At last!! ]

Turul meat, you say? That's a new one for me. What kind of meat is it? Red meat? White? Is it akin to a bird, or a bovine? Do you, perhaps, already know how to cook it properly?

You've never had turul?! But it's delicious!

[ She sounds absolutely aghast on his behalf. This is an injustice and she must correct it as soon as possible. ]

It's a bird – so it's white meat! It's just some of the breast in here but that should be more than enough for everyone!

[ This sounds like abject bullshit, but then Bryn dumps the package of meat on a spare bit of counter space and going by the tremendous thump of the meat hitting the worktop, she really wasn't kidding. ]

You don't have to treat it much differently than chicken meat, but the flavour is completely different! Turul are always gorging themselves on fruits and berries so the meat is sweet as well... it's delicious!

...I see. Then this will make a fine meal, and I can't wait to experiment with it.

[He gives her a small smile of appreciation. It's true, he's going to enjoy the fuck out of doing fun things with a sweet-tasting chocobo breast from another world.

How large do these birds get, if I might ask?

A fully grown one? Well, I've never seen it for myself, but...

[ She goes quiet for a moment, because she's very unhelpfully sizing something up in the air with her hands. Even then, it's wildly out of proportion with the answer she actually gives him. ]

About the same size as a horse, so I've heard! Sometimes they can grow a bit bigger, as well. Oh, but that's not accounting for the wingspan, of course!

They do sound quite like my chocobo from home, though perhaps even larger than that. It's a good thing they like sweets.

And do you raise them, on farms? Or perhaps hunt them? Ride them, even?

Oh, goodness no! They live so high up on the mountains, hardly anyone can get to them. Sometimes traders try and raise the chicks so they can have a flying mount, but usually it just ends in tears for everyone...

[ She sounds honestly kind of disappointed. Bryn wants to ride around on a giant bird so bad. ]

But sometimes they end up straying down into forests and getting into fights with hunters! It's rare, though, so they're a bit of a delicacy. That's why I thought the best person to cook this would be you!
